Valentine's Decor Project!

Last week my design assistant, Jenalyn, got a creative bug and made this fun Valentine's wreath out of red burlap, here's her how to's so you can make one yourself!
Cut the Burlap into 2" Strips and then Iron them in half.
The pattern for making the roses came from A Gilded Life
She made 16 roses but you can make more or less depending on how big
you want your wreath to be.
Next arrange your roses on a sheet of foam core or cardboard and trace.
Remove the roses and draw a smaller heart inside what you traced
so you have just enough material to glue the roses on but not enough to show.
You can glue more burlap or ribbon around the heart to cover it up
just in case it shows, and glue on your ribbon to hang it from.
Then glue on your roses!
….and VoilĂ  you have a fun Valentine's Wreath!
Of course topped with a cute bow!

If you don't want to do a wreath these cute burlap roses would even be great if you pinned them around a ball and tied a ribbon at the top to make a big rose pouf.  Make 3 or more of them and you could dangle the poufs from your mantel or a chandelier.

If you haven't already decorated for Valentine's, go on and spruce up your home with a little bit of LOVE!
